Yay, I have over 300 watchers now, almost 400 already!
Many of you know I like to write random poems for my new watchers rather than leaving an unoriginal "Thank you for watching" message, and I usually make a different one for every watcher. However, I can't really afford to do this anymore because I
am a lazy bastard really want to work on my comics and finish them all as soon as possible while giving myself plenty of time to spend on them so they'll be high quality, of course. I have thanked at least every one of my first 300 watchers in some way. I do still visit the page of
every new watcher, though. Since I feel lazy today, here is a random poem to thank all the new watchers:
Banana.
That was it.
I'm working on my next comic. Look for it in a week or two (or probably three).
<lifestuffandcrap>This month's Recruit Sustainment Program drill went much better than last time for me, although we had to do exercises and other activities outside in 86 degree Fahrenheit (30 Celsius) weather for about eight hours. I didn't throw up at all this time. I still need to improve on running and doing sit ups though, but at least I improved from last time.
Weight before: 122 pounds (55 kilograms)
Weight now: 131 pounds (59 kilograms)
Time on the one-mile (1.6-kilometer) run: 11:05 (from previous drill)
This time, on the
two-mile run: 17:40 (in even worse heat!)
Push ups in
one minute: 52 (from previous drill)
Push ups in two minutes: 54 (meh, 42 is the minimum for my age group)
Sit ups in one minute: 19 (from previous drill)
Sit ups in two minutes: 36
I did 50 sit ups on Wednesday, but it was
physically impossible for my body to lift itself off the ground (without resting a few seconds) after doing 36 on Saturday. I think I heard a sergeant chuckle as I wriggled around on the ground. I just don't know what went wrong.
We did some fun stuff too, such as low crawling, high crawling, and rushing from cover to cover. I appear to be quite agile at crawling. In the final event of the day, we had to do all three movements while the sergeants shot paint balls at us. I felt a paint ball barely skim the back of my patrol cap.
Since the road march and learning the movements took too long, we were spared from the "Saturday Night Specials". Thank Sweet Celestia.
During personal time, I showed my friend a few of my favorite songs from the show, and he liked them. He even asked me to link him more. I decided to post this on his Facebook:
"Here's a soft song from the show. If you're not wearing headphones, turn up the volume, because it's a bit difficult to hear...
