"We never had a single fight..." IMPOSSIBRU! All siblings inevitably have conflicts. No fighting would be unnatural.
This comic was not as artistically amazing as I originally intended. I sacrificed quality and simplified the style because I'm a lazy bastard for the sake of time. I tried to keep the perspective and backgrounds dynamic. This is something I want to challenge artists to do more often. This is what you get when you mix over ambition with laziness: a comic epic in length but not in content.
I think this was very good but had too much narration. A lot it could be seen from the art itself and the superfluous words took away from the impact. I think a good flashback would've told the story from the pictures and dialogue alone; it seems more natural that way. I don't know if you can just go in and take out the words but if you did that where your artwork clearly narrated itself then I think the comic would be much better for it. Lol I should have just made this into a critique... and so I just did.
Vision - You clearly knew the story you were trying to portray and did so wel. 5 stahs!
Originality - I never really see Twily and Shining have a fight so that was a nice idea. Of course you always see him being protective. 4.5 stahs!
Technique - Your art was great, no qualms here. 5 stahs!
Impact - Narration (Twily's thoughts) felt forced and took away from the feel that the artwork instilled. Y U NO MAKE ME FEELZ D: 3.5 stahs!
This could have been better as parts. The first part could have been a normal day with them doing everything as normal. The second could have been the first part of this comic. Part 3 could have been her lost again and remembering everything that had happened in the past, and the last part could have been them doing something new, but still safe for twilight. I wanted to feel something when reading this, but it just felt that the point that you were trying to get across, was rushed. The artwork is great so I have nothing to say about it.
