Once again English is not my first language so be patient everypony if I make a few mistakes
MyMiniatureEquine I just stated following you and with a good reason your art is amazing, every time I think you give me something great, you manage comeback with something awesome. VISION sweet.
Now I love Lyra she is the best pony ever and this comic reflecs perfectly the basic idea that she wants to be human(how does she knows about them .... no idea but still) so this is a great concept to work. So ORIGINALITY perfect
Now lets talk about the art. Something that alot of people take for granted but working on shadows, perceptive, source of light you give them a good place here. every panel the shadows follow the source of light with amazing effect, even the detail on the shadows (door nob, Lyra's) are well placed and manage. nothing more than TECHNIQUE perfect.
Now the last part impact. The joke is simple and is on character the faces are just epic, Lyra's look on the mirror priceless and the face of Bon Bon... hahaha sorry. Any who some might arguei that the panels are repetitive which is not the case because every panel express the AWESOME story.
So Impact PERFECT.
thank you for giving me something to add to my favorites
This strip highlights what I think you do best in your comics. Backgrounds and expressions. You always do an exceptional job at telling the story without words, and this strip highlights it. The best comics let the reader interpret what is going on, vice telling it to them. here, while it is perfectly clear what i going through Bon Bon's mind, I have to get there myself.
That's the goods, as for the others... The perspective on the door frame is a little off. the visible part of the latch side of the frame needs to be a bit narrower. Also, the reflections in the mirror, while a good attempt, are not quite right.
I'm an engineer... so geometric inconsistencies immediately draw my attention... I am probably atypical in that regard
However, the overall artistic presentation is very good, and the strip make me smile, so this is definitely an A
Well at least now we know who wears the pants in this relationship. Also wouldn’t that automatically make Bon Bon a submissive partner (Lyra being "male") or is this just tied to her human obsession.
If you want to think about it in those terms, then remember, that how a couple are in public are very different as to how they are in the bedroom. If we do go into the debate about (the after hours). Then I would say Bon Bon is most likely outwardly, the Controller, Handling things and even having the stable job and personality, who can handle Lyra´s craziness. But the moment they get in private, i am fairly certain Lyra will have the, Upper Hand. Ba Dum tish.
