Important: you must watch Season Two, Episode 16: "Read It and Weep" in order to get the context.
This is the first equine art I've made since Equestria Daily's Artist Training Grounds: Mock War theme. I've only been drawing ponies for two or three weeks now.
I wanted to draw in ways I haven't seen many vector artists do (this was digitally drawn, not vector made, by the way). I tried to keep the perspectives varied and somewhat interesting, although you can tell I got lazy half-way through. I've never seen anypony draw the lower part of Rarity's mane on the opposite side of the body before. I had to experiment with the colors on Rainbow Dash's mane when viewed from behind (you never see it from behind). I also made the lighting dynamic.
The backgrounds are not as well drawn as the characters because I'm a lazy bastard in order to make the characters more prominent. I could have used screenshots, but that's cheating.
I think this was a little bit too ambitious. I had planned to have it done before the official release of the next episode, which is why it looks rushed. Unfortunately, I acquired little sleep for only this little quality.
There will be an alternate ending in the future.
I am never drawing Rarity in a kimono in a comic again.
You know, Rarity forced Spike to re-wright the message, and that means Rarity should be the one to be banished into the moon, and plus Rainbow Dash is innocent.
my books on..........ROYAL ETIQUETTE??!!"
Today I learned that Rarity is WORST pony.
